PhD Opportunity with Project Coordinator UCD

The UCD Perinatal Research Centre and UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science are seeking to recruit a PhD student to join our project team. The PhD program will involve further training in clinical trials skills, exposure to cutting-edge implementation research, biological sample processing, clinical chemistry analysis, scientific writing, statistical analysis and project management skills. There will be opportunities to present your work at the national and international scientific stage.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic graduate of BSc in a health science (or related discipline) with a minimum of a 2.1 Honours degree or an MSc.  The role will involve work within clinical and laboratory settings. The successful candidate should be highly motivated and interested in maternal and child health. Experience working with this population would be a distinct advantage.
