Survey investigating maternal weight gain and GDM management launches
As part of our research, we want to understand current practices in the care of women at risk of gestational diabetes, relating to screening, weight management and postnatal care of mother and baby. As a result, we have launched an online survey which aims to investigate maternal weight and gestational diabetes management in hospital and looks at both pre- and post- COVID-19. The survey looks to understand variations in practice within and between the UK, Australia, Ireland and Spain – the countries where women and participating in the Bump2Baby and Me trial.
We are inviting clinicians working in weight management and diabetes in pregnancy services within maternity units in the participating countries, not just study sites, to take part.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, and the results will be incorporated into our research findings. You can return to partially completed surveys at any time.
We would be grateful for your support in completing the survey, which runs for approximately 6-8 weeks. Please access the survey here.
The University of Bristol is leading this survey and any queries can be directed to Dr Christy Burden.
